ISSC: Interstate Shellfish Sanitation Conference

The Interstate Shellfish Sanitation Conference (ISSC) was formed in 1982 to foster and promote shellfish sanitation through the cooperation of state and federal control agencies, the shellfish industry, and the academic community.

The ISSC was advised last week of the passing of Joe Nelson of Fisherman's Harvest Inc, Anahuac, Texas.

Joe was very active in the ISSC serving as an Executive Board member and as a Task Force member several times over the past 25 years.  He will be greatly missed.
